Tapping into a new feature in the Search Bar on Sears PartsDirect

You’ll notice a brand new feature in the Search Bar at the top of each Sears PartsDirect webpage on our site.

We’ve made it easier for you to find DIY repair help for your appliance or product by adding Symptoms to drop-down results as you key numbers and/or letters into the Search Bar.

When you see a Symptom that matches the problem that you’re fixing, click on that Symptom result to get DIY advice on diagnosing and fixing the problem.

For example, Symptoms for a query such as a Dryer will appear when you key in a term search.

Click on Why won’t my dryer heat (symptom) from the drop-down when keying in “Dryer” and you’ll go to this page that provides DIY repair help for a dryer that isn’t heating:
