It only took about 10 minutes. pry off the little center cap, unscrew the bolt with a 7/16 socket, pull out the old washplate and put the new one on. It came with a new bolt so all I did was tighten it down.

The splines of the old washplate stripped out when the bolt came loose; fortunately the splined stud is a harder steel, so it was undamaged. The R&R took less than 5 minutes. Just, remove the plastic chrome cover, unscrew the old bolt and pull out the washplate. Next, wire brush and grease on the splinned stud, then replace the washplate, tighten the bolt and replace the plastic chrome cover.
