The upright freezer was dead in the water . It took a lightning strike or power surge. Bypassed the main board to make sure it was still going to work before I bought the new part. it ran and the new part fixed it fine.

Only took me 10 seconds to install. The freezer went crazy and the display was messed up so I googgled what may be wrong. Several people mentioned the control assembly so I thought it would be cheaper to try it. Due to Covid, we had a big delay but would not have been able to buy another $700 freezer either so we waited. The part arrived 2 months before anticipated and once it was installed, literally 10 seconds, the freezer was back up and running great.
